This broadcast will be held via Zoom\/video conferencing. Dr. Gasevic is a fourth-year resident in the Psychiatry Residency Training Program. Robert J. Olson, M.D., director of the Psychiatry Residency Training Program in the SMHS Department of Psychiatry &amp; Behavioral Sciences, and a psychiatrist at Sanford Health in Fargo, will serve as Dr. Gasevic\u2019s discussant.<\/p>\n<p>Upon completion of this program, the learner will be able to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Compare and contrast terms \u201ccapacity\u201d and \u201ccompetence.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Identify elements of capacity.<\/li>\n<li>Become familiar with most common formal decision-making capacity tools.<\/li>\n<li>Identify appropriate decision-making capacity consults.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This Grand Rounds presentation, sponsored by the UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences and the School\u2019s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science, is broadcast via video conference to many sites throughout North Dakota and Minnesota and is also streamed via personal computers.
