Unfortunately, it can sometimes be challenging to locate consistent evidence-based information about the variety of drugs available. In addition, many patients are using supplements which could interact with their medications. With these things in mind, we are hosting a virtual presentation to demonstrate some tools available to UND SMHS affiliates (faculty, students, volunteer faculty, residents, etc.) that will help you better understand and prescribe medications for your patients.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/und.libcal.com\/event\/16646196\">Register now<\/a> to join librarians on Friday, April 24<sup>th<\/sup> at noon to learn the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Learn about various SMHS resources and others on drug references<\/li>\n<li>Locate patient education handouts within different drug resources<\/li>\n<li>Interact with various resources in an active learning session<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Librarians will demonstrate the resources available, and participants are encouraged to actively use these during the presentation.
