Peppermint ice cream is the best!<\/p>\n<p><strong>How many pets do you have, what kind of pet are they, and what are their names?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I have one dog. He is a 6 year old Great Dane named \u2018Pip\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are you reading right now?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>House of Sky and Breath by Sarah J. Maas &amp; A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire by Jennifer Armentrout<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tell us about your journey to working in a medical library.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My journey to working in a medical library was not straight forward. During my graduate education, I believed medical librarianship would be a good fit for me based on my personal experience and interests. I completed several projects with this end in mind but unfortunately at that time I was living in Chicago where it was extremely difficult to get any academic library position. So, instead I ended up in publishing, followed by a community college part time position, then a public library in New Hampshire before landing my first academic library position at UND\u2019s Chester Fritz Library. Next, I managed a community college library in Iowa before returning to UND and joining SMHS\u2019s Library Resources. It was a long road but definitely worth it for the experience gained and the knowledge that Medical Librarianship is the right career for me.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you want everyone to know about Library Resources?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re a small but mighty group of expert researchers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Name:\u00a0Megan Keely Carroll Denis Position:\u00a0Research and Education Librarian Where do you work?
