Below is a guide on how to use each of UND&#8217;s communication methods to ensure your message reaches the right audience.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"465\" data-end=\"515\">Newsletters: Share Your Story with the UND Community<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"516\" data-end=\"945\">UND&#8217;s <strong data-start=\"520\" data-end=\"529\">blogs<\/strong> are a great way to share and read stories, updates, and insights with the entire UND community. For more information on how to submit content, visit <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.und.edu\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"670\" data-end=\"705\">UND Blogs<\/a>. Each blog serves a specific purpose and campus community. Whether it\u2019s academic achievements, departmental updates, or campus news, blogs allow you to connect directly with the community in a meaningful way. We highly recommend subscribing to <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.und.edu\/und-today\/\">UND Today<\/a>, UND&#8217;s official news source, as well as the <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.und.edu\/uletter\/\">U Letter<\/a> &#8211; UND&#8217;s faculty and staff newsletter.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"516\" data-end=\"945\">Optional ListServ Subscriptions<\/h3>\n<h4 data-start=\"947\" data-end=\"986\">Staff Chat: Connect with Colleagues<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"987\" data-end=\"1496\">If your message is specifically geared toward UND staff members, <strong data-start=\"1052\" data-end=\"1066\">Staff Chat<\/strong> is the ideal platform. This list does not reach <strong>all<\/strong> staff &#8211; it hits approximately\u00a01,100 voluntary subscribers, all of whom have opted in to receive updates about campus social events, surplus\/in search of equipment, contests. To reach this group, simply email <a href=\"mailto:STAFFCHAT@LISTSERV.NODAK.EDU\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"1307\" data-end=\"1335\">STAFFCHAT@LISTSERV.NODAK.EDU<\/a> with your submission. Staff Chat is where employees go to connect to campus. Submissions are moderated. <a href=\"https:\/\/campus.und.edu\/human-resources\/employees\/list-serves.html\">Learn how to subscribe to this listserv<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4 data-start=\"1498\" data-end=\"1535\">HRMS Users: Update on HRMS Topics<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"1536\" data-end=\"1946\">For topics related to <strong data-start=\"1558\" data-end=\"1602\">HRMS (Human Resources Management System)<\/strong> usage. These are UND employees who work specifically with the HRMS system and communicate updates on HRMS usage, payroll reminders, and other related news. Submissions are exclusive to the Office of Human Resources. <a href=\"https:\/\/campus.und.edu\/human-resources\/employees\/list-serves.html\">Learn how to subscribe to this listserv<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"516\" data-end=\"945\">Automatic ListServ Subscriptions<\/h3>\n<h4 data-start=\"1948\" data-end=\"1996\">Benefited Employees: News Impacting our Hawks at Work<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"1997\" data-end=\"2407\">If your announcement concerns a majority of campus employees, use the <strong data-start=\"2060\" data-end=\"2083\">Benefited Employees<\/strong> list, which reaches all of UND&#8217;s ~2,700 benefited staff and faculty members. This list is moderated, meaning all submissions are reviewed before distribution. Topics include benefits updates, perks, job search announcements, and events exclusive to benefited employees. The &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.und.edu\/hr\/while-you-were-working\/\">While You Were Working<\/a>&#8221; and &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.und.edu\/hr\/category\/employees\/new-employees\/\">New Hawks at Work<\/a>&#8221; newsletters reach these individuals. To submit content, email <a href=\"mailto:UND-BENEFITED-EMPLOYEES@LISTSERV.NODAK.EDU\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"2362\" data-end=\"2404\">UND-BENEFITED-EMPLOYEES@LISTSERV.NODAK.EDU<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4 data-start=\"2409\" data-end=\"2461\">All Employees: Important Campus-Wide Information<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"2462\" data-end=\"2867\">For messages that need to reach <strong data-start=\"2494\" data-end=\"2515\">all ~6,100 UND employees<\/strong>, use this platform for vital information related to campus or safety updates. This list is also moderated by the HR Office, and topics typically include important notices about campus-wide initiatives or safety procedures. Submissions come from UND Offices such as the <a href=\"http:\/\/und.edu\/hr\">Office of Human Resources<\/a> or the <a href=\"https:\/\/campus.und.edu\/safety\/public-safety\/index.html\">Office of Safety<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4 data-start=\"2869\" data-end=\"2908\">Supervisors: Keep Managers Informed<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"2909\" data-end=\"3220\">If your communication is targeted toward supervisors, you&#8217;ll want to use the <strong data-start=\"2990\" data-end=\"3005\">Supervisors<\/strong> listserv, which updates those who supervise employees. This list can be tiered to all those who supervise, or more commonly, those who supervise benefited employees. The &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.und.edu\/hr\/category\/supervisors\/\">Leading Hawks at Work<\/a>&#8221; newsletter reaches these individuals.
