{"id":1670,"date":"2025-07-16T10:34:09","date_gmt":"2025-07-16T15:34:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.und.edu\/hr\/?p=1670"},"modified":"2025-07-24T08:07:01","modified_gmt":"2025-07-24T13:07:01","slug":"updated-leave-donation-forms","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.und.edu\/hr\/2025\/07\/updated-leave-donation-forms\/","title":{"rendered":"Updated Leave Donation Forms"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>How UND staff members take care of each other when they need it most<\/h2>\n<p>The Donated Leave process allows eligible staff who have run out of leave to continue receiving a paycheck while they are out of work.\u00a0 Receiving staff may receive up to 693 hours (prorated for part-time staff) in a 12 month period per <a href=\"https:\/\/ndusbpos.sharepoint.com\/:w:\/s\/NDUSPoliciesandProcedures\/Ef0A9_mlszxFomiFidWUQYYBip7tXTBgEC63CtrGCEgioQ?rtime=45TDOzC-3Ug\">NDUS Policy 20<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/ndlegis.gov\/assembly\/67-2021\/session-laws\/documents\/statg.pdf\">NDCC 54-06-14.7<\/a>. The Office of Human Resources recently updated the forms used to request and donate leave electronically.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #009a44;font-family: 'Trade Gothic', 'Oswald Medium', Oswald, Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 1.625rem\">Request to Donate Leave<\/span><\/p>\n<p>You may have a staff coworker in need of leave, who would greatly appreciate your assistance! When a leave is sudden, or extended, a staff member may not have enough leave to cover their missed hours, resulting in a loss of pay. You can assist these staff members through leave donation.<\/p>\n<p>You can choose to donate to a specific person (see the <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.und.edu\/uletter\/category\/bulletin-board\/\">U-Letter Bulletin Board<\/a> for approved staff) or donate to the General Leave Donation Pool.
