Spring Aviation Safety Meeting to be Held February 22

“Human Factors in Aircraft Accidents and
the FAA FAAST Safety Team”

When: Thursday, February 22, 2007

Time: 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Where: UND Chester Fritz Auditorium

Cost: The meeting is free and open to the public.

(Grand Forks, ND): The FAA Safety Team (FAASTeam) was launched October 1, 2006 with the following goals:

* Reducing the commercial airline fatal accident rate;

* Reducing the number of fatal accidents in general aviation; and

* Reducing the risk of runway incursions.
