Ricardo Alfaro-Contreras Receives ND Space Grant Award
UND Atmospheric Sciences graduate student Ricardo Alfaro-Contreras has received a grant from the North Dakota Space Grant Consortium. Ricardo will be using this support to complete a fall research project for his M.S. degree regarding the global analysis of above cloud aerosols from multi-sensor measurements. This work is being conducted under the direction of Atmospheric Sciences faculty member Dr. Jianglong Zhang. The main objective of the NDSGC is to provide and support opportunities for our students to pursue research in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields and prepare them for careers that support NASA’s goals and the high-tech workforce development needs of North Dakota.
