The buoy was launched on Devils Lake on August 19
The buoy measuring the water quality was launched in Devils Lake On Aug. 19, 2014. This is the 4th year of the field observation led by Dr. Xiaodong Zhang for monitoring both short- and long-term changes of water quality in Devils Lake. The real-time data acquired every 10 minutes can be accessed via http://www.wqdatalive.com/public/179. The launched was very late this year because after a rough winter seaon trapped in the ice of Devils Lake, the buoy was only recoverd in June and needed serious repairs.
