MBI Energy Services is seeking a full time IT Support Specialist to provide corporate-wide end user support. This position will provide services in a timely and accurate manner while providing end user training where required, and will assist with the installation and troubleshooting of end user hardware and software. This position has considerable user contact and requires good people, communication, analytical, and organizational skills as well as great attention to detail. This position reports to the Client Services Manager.Essential Tasks & Duties:- Provide daily support to business end users, both onsite and remotely.- Utilize Web Help Desk system to document all support requests, responses, and resolutions.- Administer the Web Help Desk system software.- Inventory – Manage MBI’s hardware and software assets.- Computer Imaging – Image and setup of computers.- Administer MBI’s technology recycling program.- Client Education Facilitator. MBI run classes.- Collaborate in maintaining technical documentation.- Performing new user set up on hardware as well as within an active directory (AD) and Microsoft Exchange environment.- Occasional travel (some overnight) required to support remote operations.- Participating in an on call (24/7) rotating schedule with other support staff.- Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:- Associates Degree in CIS/MIS/CS or related field. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.- 1 Year experience, 2 Years of experience or more preferred.Required Skills:- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.- Proficient knowledge of desktop operating systems- Proficient knowledge of PC/Server hardware, software and peripheral equipment (printers, plotters, scanners, copiers, fax machines, etc.) including set up and installation.- Working knowledge of the Microsoft domain and networking environment, including active directory, global catalogs, DHCP, DNS, WINS and group policy objects.- Working knowledge of LAN/WAN and wireless networking.- Provide excellent customer service skills and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills; ability to balance independent and team work.- Set appropriate priorities and handle multiple demands or projects while maintaining organization and efficiency; meet critical deadlines as required.- Preference given to those with proven experience using Citrix technologies.Additional InformationSchedule:- 40 hrs./ week- Monday – Friday- Day Shift- Some late night work may be required to complete certain tasks that require after hours action.- Part of a rotating 24/7 on call schedule- Some travel required
