Dr. Dodge Invited as Guest Speaker at Space Traffic Management Conference

Dr. Michael Dodge attended the Embry Riddle Aeronautical University Space Traffic Management Conference on November 17th-18th. This annual conference focuses on the legal, regulatory, and engineering issues that impact current and planned activities in outer space. Dr. Dodge was an invited speaker for the panel on governance of space traffic management. He briefed the attendees on the status of the reporting requirements created by the Commercial Space Launch Competitiveness Act (CSLCA) of 2015, and how the executive branch of our national government interprets Congressional requirements on potential modifications to both public and private space activities. Dr. Dodge also wrote a paper for the conference, “The Reporting Requirements of the U.S. Commercial Space Launch Competitiveness Act: Status, Analysis, and Legal Implications.”
