After winter hibernation, the buoy was put back to Devils Lake for monitoring the water quality

The ESSP department has operated a buoy for monitoring the water quality in Devils Lake since the summer of 2011. During the winter times, the buoy was taken back to our lab for annual maintenance and calibration. We launched the buoy back to the lake on May 12, 2017 with the help from ND’s Department of Health.
