Lunar/Mars Habitat Progress…..

Progression on the Inflatable Lunar/Mars Analog Habitat (ILMAH) four expansion module continues this summer under the direction of Dr. de León, with assistance from two SPST graduate students. The exterior construction of the four modules has been completed. The EVA/maintenance module and plant production module have been attached to the existing ILMAH and interior work is underway with completion anticipated in August 2017. The remaining two modules, geology and exercise & human performance, are in position awaiting the linking bridge structures and are scheduled for completion by spring 2018.
