NASA EPSCoR CAN NOFO estimated to be Released in early June 2026

NASA aims to release the newest NOFO for a NASA EPSCoR CAN award in early June 2026. There will be a quick turnaround for the RFP.

Please reference the Winter 2024 – 2025 solicitation and call for ND pre-proposals, as this RFP will be similar in scope and requirements. Only one pre-proposal will be selected to move forward from ND for funding consideration from NASA. Awards will be made for 3-year POPs and will be alloted up to $750,000 per award. The ND NASA EPSCoR jurisdiction Director (Dr. Caitlin Milera) will serve as the PI on the ND proposal. Faculty proposers will serve as Sci-Is.

The ND NASA EPSCoR team will also be seeking reviewers for pre-proposals with a quick-turnaround on review time.

Here is NASA’s draft guidebook regarding the upcoming solicitation.

  1. This guide book includes research focus areas
    1. Proposals are not required to be submitted towards a specific research focus area
    2. All proposals are required to demonstrate relevance, alignment, and impact towards NASA priorities regardless of topics
