Space Studies hosted tours of its facilities for NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman, General Mike Guetlein, and Senator John Hoeven on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. The dignitaries visited Dr. Pablo de León’s Human Spaceflight Lab and Integrated Lunar/Martian Analog Habitat (ILMAH) as well as Space Studies displays on Clifford Hall’s second floor.

While on an EVA, the crew of ILMAH Mission XXVIII/APUS11i presented them with mission patches.

On their way to the Human Spaceflight Lab on Clifford Hall’s second floor, the dignitaries were able to view a visual history of the NDX spacesuits displayed on its wall. In addition to learning about Dr. de León’s patented 3D-printed spacesuits, they received an overview of UND’s ROADS (Rendezvous & Operations for Autonomous Docking and Servicing) satellite mission from Dr. Ron Fevig (MS’94&’96).
