Prof. Michael Dodge and Space Studies M.S. students Madison Diamond (center) and Kristin Shahady (right) recently attended the SGAC Fusion Forum Conference in Colorado Spring, CO. Prof. Dodge was also a panelist during the event.

Dr. Kavya Manyapu, Adjunct Professor of Space Studies will be speaking at the Humans to Mars Summit on 9/15 about why it is important to go to Mars. This summit is free to register. Students might be interested in participating in the various ongoing panels (all virtual).

Professor Michael Dodge was recently interviewed by Dr. Elizabeth Howell (one of our recent Aerospace PhD graduates) for The Space Economy podcast. The podcast discusses economic opportunities in space, orbital tourism, and other related matters. It is available here.

The founding chairman of UND Space Studies, Dr. David Webb, passed away in October 2016. He and his late wife Liliane will have their ashes sent into space on a Celestis Memorial Flight currently scheduled for June 2022.
