The University of North Dakota Observatory will host its second annual fundraising banquet Monday, March 25, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Grand Forks, from 5 to 10 p.m. The observatory is part of the UND Department of Space Studies in the John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences. Full article

In October 2012, the final public star party of the year was held at the UND Observatory. These events are open to the public.  Participants are welcome to use the telescopes to view the night sky. The University of North Dakota Department of Space Studies and the University`s Astronomy Club will be holding another one of their `Public Star Party` events Friday, Sept. 14, at the UND Observatory, west of campus. The next star party is Oct. 9, also at UND Observatory.
