Funding must contribute to the completion of NASA relevant research designed to promote and expand particular NASA research sub disciplines in North Dakota.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The period of performance for these awards is May 16, 2025 \u2013 May 15, 2026.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The purpose of the ND NASA EPSCoR program is to promote, develop, and expand NASA research in North Dakota aligned with NASA priorities and Mission Directorates.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i>It is anticipated that two <strong>research<\/strong> awards <\/i><i>may be made to a maximum of<strong> $45,000 each<\/strong>.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>It is anticipated that two <strong>travel<\/strong> awards <\/i><i>may be made to a maximum of <strong>$5,000 each<\/strong>.<\/i><\/p>\n<h3>Eligibility:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Faculty PI must be from an ND NASA EPSCoR <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ndnasaepscor.und.edu\/about\/affiliate-members.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">affiliate institution<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Research <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">must be in STEM (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics) and demonstrate alignment with NASA priorities and one or more NASA Mission Directorates.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Travel <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">must directly contribute to specific research efforts as outlined in this solicitation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Proposals must designate which solicitation they are responding to (travel or research).
