UND Department of Internal Medicine to host #ProudtobeGIM event Jan. 16

The UND Department of Internal Medicine was recently awarded a grant from the Society of General Internal Medicine (SGIM) as part of the #ProudtobeGIM campaign to promote careers in General Internal Medicine (GIM). As part of this grant, we are excited to announce that we will be hosting a #ProudtobeGIM event for residents, SMHS medical students, and faculty at Tru Blu Event Center in Fargo, N.D., on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020, at 6 p.m. The event will be streamed via Zoom to the SMHS Bismarck campus Room 2101A, Grand Forks campus Room E101, and Minot campus Conference Room.

Additionally, the Department of Internal Medicine is asking participants who have a social media presence to raise awareness about all things related to GIM (career opportunities, academics, innovation, current issues).
