Tammy R. P. Oltz Appointed to the North Dakota Library Coordinating Council

131202 Tammy R. P. Oltz_0022abTammy R. P. Oltz has been appointed by Governor Burgum to the North Dakota Library Coordinating Council (NDLCC). According to the State Library web-site, the NDLCC “assists in planning, coordinating, and evaluating the services and programs of North Dakota libraries.” Members of the Council participate in duties such as selecting Library Vision 2020 grant recipients, conducting site visits, and advising the State Library on other matters as required. Oltz will represent “special libraries” (such as law and medical libraries) for a three-year term.

Professor Oltz, law professor and director of the Thormodsgard Law Library, earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School, her M.S.I. from the University of Michigan, and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Gannon University. While in law school, she served on the Harvard Negotiation Law Review and in the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau.
