Alisha Ankers ’92 Named Super Lawyer

Ankers has been selected as a 2022 Great Plains Super Lawyer in the area of family law

Ms. Ankers is a sole practitioner attorney with more than 30 years of experience practicing law in both Minnesota and North Dakota. Her practice has offices in both Fargo and Wishek, North Dakota. She is a member of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the National Board of Trial Advocacy, and the North Dakota Collaborative Divorce Group. Ms. Ankers attended University of North Dakota School of Law and was admitted to the bar in 1992. She serves as a family mediator on the North Dakota Alternative Dispute Resolution Neutral Roster.

Ms. Ankers is also listed on the North Dakota Parenting Coordinator and the Parenting Investigator/Guardian ad Litem Roster. Super Lawyers is a rating service comprised of exemplary attorneys from more than 70 practice areas who have achieved the highest caliber of professional accomplishment and peer recognition. Super Lawyer selects their attorneys through a statewide survey of lawyers, independent analysis, and peer reviews by practice area. Each year, no more than 5 percent of the lawyers, per state, earn the recognition. Ms. Ankers has obtained this since 2011 for her outstanding work and commitment to the spirit of the legal profession in the area of family law.
