McNamara ’19 and Wischer ’22 Join Conmy Feste Law Firm

Shaun D. McNamara and David W. Wischer joined the firm as associate attorneys

McNamara received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with a writing emphasis from Minnesota State University Moorhead. He earned his Juris Doctor from University of North Dakota (UND) School of Law. McNamara has experience in civil litigation, commercial litigation, family law, and commercial and residential evictions. While in law school, Shaun competed as a member of the UND Law Trial Team, contributed as a member of the North Dakota Law Review, and worked as the legislative intern in the office of the North Dakota Attorney General during the 66th Legislative Assembly. Additionally, Shaun interned at the Fargo Public Defender’s Office and received the Summer Public Interest Law Work Grant. He also worked as a summer associate for a firm in Fargo. After law school, he fulfilled a two-year clerkship in North Dakota’s East Central Judicial District where he served as the law clerk for all nine district court judges and two judicial referees. McNamara is licensed to practice law in North Dakota and Minnesota.

Wischer received his Bachelor of Science degree in Social Studies, with a minor in Spanish, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of North Dakota, and his Juris Doctor, Cum Laude from the University of North Dakota (UND) School of Law. Wischer’s areas of practice include business law, commercial law, and civil litigation. During law school, he was a legislative intern for the North Dakota Senate, serving on the Finance & Taxation Committee and the Transportation Committee during the 67th Regular Season. Wischer is licensed to practice law in North Dakota.
