WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Frank Dooley, the chancellor of Purdue Global and a leader instrumental in its creation, has been elected to the American Council of Education board of directors.

Chancellor since May 2020, Dooley joins the board of the membership organization that aims to shape public policy and foster innovative, high-quality practice. The ACE is the major coordinating body for more than 1,700 colleges and universities, related associations, and other organizations nationally and internationally.

Frank Dooley, the chancellor of Purdue Global and a leader instrumental in its creation, has been elected to the American Council of Education board of directors.

Dooley, a member of the Presidents Forum governing board, previously served as senior vice provost for teaching and learning at Purdue University, before becoming chancellor of Purdue Global, according to the announcement.

He joined the Purdue Department of Agricultural Economics in 1998 as a professor of agricultural economics, associate head of the department, Provost Fellow, associate vice provost for undergraduate academic affairs and vice provost for teaching and learning.
