Sara Monson ’11 named O’Keeffe O’Brien Lyson Attorneys partner

Sara Monson has been named Partner at O’Keeffe O’Brien Lyson Attorneys in Fargo. Monson has been an associate attorney at the firm since 2013. Her primary practice areas include Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice.

Monson grew up in West Fargo. She earned her undergraduate degree, majoring in Political Science and minoring in Criminal Justice at North Dakota State University. Monson graduated with distinction from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2011. While in law school she was the technical editor of the North Dakota Law Review and worked as a law clerk for the firm. Following law school, Sara was a law clerk for the judges in the East Central Judicial District, Cass County, North Dakota.

Monson is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in North Dakota and Minnesota. She is a member of the American Association for Justice and serves on the Board of Governors for the North Dakota Association for Justice. She is also a member of several local and state bar associations.
