Meyers and Kirvida Present 2025 North Dakota Family Law Case Update at SBAND Seminar
Ariana D. Meyers, Assistant Professor of Law and Director of the Family Law Clinic, and AnneMarie Kirvida, UND Law alumna and former Family Law Clinic student, recently presented at the State Bar Association of North Dakota’s 2025 Family Law Seminar, held September 25–26 at the Jasper Hotel in Fargo.
Their presentation, “2025 North Dakota Case Law Update,” highlighted recent appellate decisions impacting family law practice in the state. Meyers and Kirvida summarized the key facts, holdings, and practical takeaways from significant cases involving juvenile deprivation, guardianships and conservatorships, termination of parental rights, divorce, child support, and parenting responsibilities. Their analysis provided practitioners with timely insights and a valuable resource for addressing current issues in North Dakota family law.
