UND School of Law Welcomes New Faculty Opportunities
The University of North Dakota School of Law is growing its faculty and inviting accomplished legal scholars and educators to join its community in Grand Forks.
With two faculty opportunities available for Fall 2027, UND School of Law is seeking individuals who are passionate about teaching, scholarship, mentorship, and preparing the next generation of public-minded legal professionals.
The School is hiring for an Assistant Professor of Law, Tenure Track, with applications welcomed from candidates across legal fields. Priority areas include Criminal Law, energy-related law, Lawyering Skills, Property, Torts, and Wills & Trusts. Candidates whose expertise can strengthen UND’s Indian Law & Tribal Law or Aviation Law certificate programs are especially encouraged to apply.
UND also is seeking a Professor of Law, Associate Dean, Tenured, an opportunity for an experienced legal educator and scholar to take on a key academic leadership role as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs while continuing to teach and engage in scholarship. The position is open to tenured Associate or Full Professors.
Both positions offer opportunities to contribute to UND School of Law’s mission of preparing thoughtful, ethical, and community-minded legal professionals while engaging in teaching, scholarship, mentorship, and service.
