UND Law Newsletter
January 2024
A Message from Dean Pappas
Happy New Year! It is with great excitement that we launch the first UND School of Law electronic newsletter. This publication is part of our efforts to build a stronger UND Law community by keeping our alumni and friends informed of what is happening here at UND. Our hope is that this publication will engage and inspire by sharing the great work that our students, faculty, and staff are achieving within our school.
We recently welcomed our students back for the spring semester, and I’m happy to report that our halls have come back to life with determined law students eager for knowledge and the next steps in their journey to becoming great attorneys. Our faculty are excited to return to the classroom with their students, and our staff are diligently working to make sure that it all runs efficiently and smoothly.
In this issue, we are happy to share various positive events, outcomes, and developments throughout the school. We have an update from our Career Services department, highlights from the fall semester, new faculty hires, and a special video segment that features yours truly attempting to bowl with our Director of Admissions.
We hope you enjoy this first newsletter and have a good laugh watching me bowl. The next time you are in Grand Forks or on campus, please stop by the School of Law to say hello!
From all of us at UND School of Law, we thank you for your continued support and wish you a happy and healthy 2024.
Sincerely,
Brian
