Purdue Global chancellor named to national education board<\/h2>\n

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. \u2014 Frank Dooley, the chancellor of Purdue Global and a leader instrumental in its creation, has been elected to the American Council of Education board of directors.<\/p>\n

Chancellor since May 2020, Dooley joins the board of the membership organization that aims to shape public policy and foster innovative, high-quality practice. The ACE is the major coordinating body for more than 1,700 colleges and universities, related associations, and other organizations nationally and internationally.<\/p>\n

Dooley, a member of the Presidents Forum governing board, previously served as senior vice provost for teaching and learning at Purdue University, before becoming chancellor of Purdue Global, according to the announcement.<\/p>\n

He joined the Purdue Department of Agricultural Economics in 1998 as a professor of agricultural economics, associate head of the department, Provost Fellow, associate vice provost for undergraduate academic affairs and vice provost for teaching and learning.<\/p>\n
