Student chapter of the American Constitution Society at UND recognized as 2026 Rising Chapter of the Year<\/h2>\n

The student chapter of the American Constitution Society (ACS) at the UND School of Law has been selected for two national awards, including ACS\u2019s 2026 Rising Chapter of the Year. As a newly-revived chapter, UND\u2019s ACS student chapter was recognized for overseeing a tremendous year-long effort to rebuild. The chapter held programming<\/a> on First Amendment rights and democracy; hosted North Dakota Supreme Court justices for a conversation on judicial interpretive tools; and worked to build strong connections across student, faculty, and local communities.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

In addition to the Rising Chapter of the Year award, UND\u2019s student chapter also won an ACS Programming Award, which are presented annually to the most active and engaged chapters. UND\u2019s student chapter will be recognized at the ACS National Convention this June in Washington, D.C., where UND student chapter President Andriana Longwell also will be honored as a Next Generation Leader<\/a>.<\/p>\n

ACS is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that looks to the Constitution as a charter of liberty, serving as the blueprint for a noble and unique experiment designed to prevent the excesses of government and to protect the human dignity necessary for individuals to realize the full potential of their lives.<\/p>\n
