Winter Commencement 2023
The University of North Dakota held its winter commencement ceremony for professional and graduate degrees on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at the Chester Fritz Auditorium on the UND campus.
Fourteen law students completed the required coursework to earn the Juris Doctor degree, two of which completed the joint J.D./M.B.A. degree. Five graduates participated in the winter ceremony.
Dean Brian Pappas presented the candidates to UND President Andrew Armacost for the official conferring of the law degree. Each graduate crossed the stage to receive a doctoral hood from professors Bradley Myers and Paul Traynor and a diploma cover from President Armacost.
The school of law held a celebratory luncheon for the winter graduates and their families and friends prior to the ceremony.
