Safety Enforcement

We use the term ‘Safety Enforcement’ frequently when it comes to temporary adjustments in enforcement procedures at UND. We wanted to provide some details on exactly what this means.

Safety Enforcement includes monitoring of areas such as:

• No Parking Zones
• Fire Lanes
• Special Reserved Spaces
• Maintenance/Service Vehicle
• Timed/Loading Zones

Safety Enforcement is typically in place during large campus-wide events, commencement, move-in weekend, and many other large events held at our campus. During these times, a UND permit is not required to utilize areas such as the ‘A’, ‘A/S’, and ‘A/S/H’ zones at UND. We do our best to notify the Campus Community, when necessary, of these changes.
