End of Fall Semester & Winter Break
As the semester ends, here are some important dates and updates to keep in mind:
- Reading & Review Day: Friday, Dec. 13, 2024 (Enforced as usual)
- Finals Week: Monday, Dec.16 – Friday, Dec. 19, 2024 (Enforced as usual)
- Winter Commencement: Friday, Dec. 20, 2024 (Safety Enforcement)
- Winter Break: Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024 – Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025
Parking Updates during Winter Break:
- Due to the reduced number of students and staff on campus, ‘A’ and ‘A/S’ parking lots will be open to all UND permit holders (except HAPT permits).
- Housing zones (Apartment and Residence Halls) will be enforced as usual.
- Safety hazards, ADA spaces, special reserved, maintenance/service vehicle, and loading/timed zones will still be enforced.
- Passport and metered zones will continue to require payment through the Passport app or parking meter.
- Daily permits can be purchased by calling UND Parking Services at 701.777.3551.
Additional reminders:
- Online sales for parking permits will begin on Jan.1, 2025, and charges may appear on students’ account through Jan. 22, 2025.
- UND semester permits will expire on Dec. 31, 2024. Be sure to purchase your new permit on Jan. 1, 2025, to cover the spring semester.
- If you’re moving out of your on-campus housing assignment, please email parking@und.edu to have your permit deactivated or exchanged. This will help those on the housing waitlist!
