Summer Parking Updates & Reminders:
With nicer weather and summer starting in the next day or so we wanted to send out some Summer Parking Updates & Reminder:
Starting May 19, summer enforcement guidelines begin
- A valid parking permit is still required on campus.
- Need a permit? Purchase through the UND Parking Portal or contact the Parking Services office.
- Departments are responsible for arranging guest parking via the UND Parking Services webpage.
- Pay attention to campus construction updates. Parking closures and changes are expected throughout the summer.
Summer enforcement guidelines (May 19 – Aug. 22):
- Apartment permits: Valid only in assigned apartment lots and designated second-car spaces.
- Annual permits (A/S): May be used interchangeably across campus zones and in the parking ramp. Enter from 2nd Avenue (south side).
- Parking ramp closure: Closed May 19-25 for annual cleaning. Reopens May 26.
- Pay-to-Park and reserved spaces: Still enforced as usual (Special Reserved, Service Vehicles, Time Zones, etc.)
- Housing Zones: Enforcement continues, but housing permits may be interchangeable (e.g. Chokecherry in Prairie Rose).
Permit expirations and sales:
- Spring semester permits: Expire May 31
- 2024-25 annual permits: Expire July 31
- Summer permits: Available now for $75, valid through July 31
- 2025-26 annual permits: Available starting July 15, valid starting Aug. 1
