Parking Lot Striping

It’s that time of year when many campus parking lots are getting a fresh coat of paint. Throughout the summer, various lots will be temporarily closed for line striping and maintenance.

We’ll do our best to keep you informed about which lots will be affected and when. Painting crews have indicated they plan to complete most of the work during evening hours to minimize disruption. Barricades will be set up in advance of each closure.

With that in mind, the first round of painting will begin on Monday, June 16th. The following lots will be affected: portions of the Clifford, Streibel, Safety, and Central Foods (see the map below—areas are highlighted with an orange box). If you typically park in these areas, please plan ahead and use nearby lots where your permit is valid.

As a reminder, Summer Parking rules are currently in effect. If you have a valid Faculty/Staff, Student, or Housing permit (excluding HAPT permits and the UND Airport), you may park in any A/S lot across campus.
