Thanksgiving Weekend at UND

UND will be closed Thursday, Nov 27, 2025, for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Holiday Open Parking (Thursday):

UND Permits are not required; however, parking in restricted zones will continue to be monitored/enforced (e.g. housing zones, reserved, safety concerns, no overnight, time limit zones, Engelstad Arena events).

Friday, Nov 28 – Reduced Campus Traffic:

The S/E and O/S/E zones will be open to all E, S, and Overnight permits.

Important Reminder

Apartment (APT) permits AND Economy permits remain restricted and are NOT allowed to park in E or S/E zones.

Saturday, Nov 29 – UND Home Hockey:

Lots around the REA convert to event parking. Some require payment; others require a UND permit—watch signage closely.
