Finals and Move-Out Week Parking

‘Pack, Park, Load, and Leave’

If you or someone assisting with your move-out will be bringing a trailer, please contact the Parking Office in advance for guidance on where to park.

Below you will find more information specific to your residence hall.

McVey, Brannon, Selke, and Noren Hall Residents –

  • Before parking, please have your belongings packed and ready to move to your vehicle.
  • All 30-minute loading zones in the Stanford East parking lot will be extended to 90-minute parking.

Monday, May 11 – Tuesday, May 12

  • If you do not have an Overnight Stanford permit, you may contact our office for permission to park in the Stanford East/West lots for up to 90 minutes during move-out.

Wednesday, May 13 – Friday, May 15

  • Open parking is available for all vehicles in Stanford East and Stanford West.
  • The 90-minute loading zones and ADA parking regulations will still be enforced.

Important Reminders

  • Loading zones are for active loading/unloading only
  • Vehicles must be moved once loading is complete
  • If you are bringing a trailer on campus to help move items, please contact the Parking Office before arriving on campus or parking.
  • Our Enforcement team will be monitoring these areas throughout the week to help ensure spaces remain available and accessible to everyone during the move-out.

West Hall Residents –

  • Before parking, please have your belongings packed and ready to move to your vehicle.
  • A temporary 90-minute loading zone will be available in the Wilkerson parking lot, along the east side of West Hall.

Wednesday, May 13 – Friday, May 15

  • Open parking is available for all vehicles in Stanford East and Stanford West

  • Passport Parking Spaces in the Wilkerson Lot still require payment between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. during the move-out.
  • Reserved and ADA parking spaces are enforced at all times in the Stanford East, Stanford West, and Wilkerson parking lots
  • If you are bringing a trailer on campus to help move items, please contact the Parking Office before arriving on campus or parking.
  • Our Enforcement team will be monitoring these areas throughout the week to help ensure spaces remain available and accessible to everyone during the move-out.

Smith and Johnstone Hall Residents –

  • Before parking, please have your belongings packed and ready to move to your vehicle.
  • All 30-minute loading zones in the Burtness parking lot will be extended to 90-minute parking.

Monday, May 11 – Tuesday, May 12

  • Permit holders from CFPAC NE or CFPAC SW can contact our office for permission to park in the Burtness lot for 90 minutes at a time.

Wednesday, May 13 – Friday, May 15

  • All permit holders are permitted in the Burtness lot without prior permission.

Important Reminders

  • Reserved Spaces and Head Resident Parking in the Burtness Lot are always enforced during the week.
  • Passport Parking Spaces in the Burtness Lot still require payment between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. during the move-out.
  • If you are bringing a trailer on campus to help move items, please contact the Parking Office before arriving on campus or parking.
  • Our Enforcement team will be monitoring these areas throughout the week to help ensure spaces remain available and accessible for everyone during move-out.

 

University Place Residents –

  • Before parking, please have your belongings packed and ready to move to your vehicle.
  • A temporary 90-minute loading zone will be available in the Fire Lane that runs parallel to University Place in the U Place parking lot.

Monday, May 11 – Tuesday, May 12

  • University Place Residents with a CFPAC permit or no permit can contact our office for permission to park in the U-Place parking lot for up to 90 minutes if the loading zone in the U Place parking lot is full.

Wednesday, May 13 – Friday, May 15

  • All permit holders are permitted to utilize the U-Place zones for parking, load, and leave purposes.

Important Reminders

  • ADA parking within the U Place lot are enforced at all times during the week
  • If you are bringing a trailer on campus to help move items, please contact the Parking Office before arriving on campus or parking.
  • Parking is not permitted along University Ave or the bus stop on the north side of U Place.
  • Our Enforcement team will be monitoring these areas throughout the week to help ensure spaces remain available and accessible for everyone during move-out.

Swanson Hall Residents –

  • Before parking, please have your belongings packed and ready to move to your vehicle.
  • An additional temporary loading zone space will be available next to the existing loading zone space outside of the parking ramp
  • Both loading zone spaces are limited to 90 minutes and are intended for active loading of vehicles only. These areas will be monitored to prevent extended parking
  • If both loading spaces are full call our office for options.
  • If you do not have a ramp permit, please contact the office to be granted 90 minutes in the ramp for loading your vehicle.
    • Remember that on the west side of the first floor of the ramp is Passport Parking only, and parking there will require payment during the week.
