Important Dates & Updates to Keep in Mind

• Reading & Review Day: Friday, Dec. 12, 2025

• Winter Commencement: Friday, Dec. 19, 2025

• Winter Break: Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025 – Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026

Parking Updates During Winter Break

• Due to the reduced number of students and staff on campus, ‘E’ and ‘S/E’ parking lots will be open to all UND permit holders (except APT and ECON permits).
  • Housing zones (Apartment and Residence Halls) will continue to be enforced as usual.
  • If you plan to leave your vehicle on campus during break, it must remain parked in your assigned housing lot.
  •If you prefer to keep your vehicle in the Parking Ramp while you’re gone, you may do so by paying for the full duration of your stay at the kiosks on Levels 1 or 4.
  • Safety hazards, ADA spaces, special reserved, maintenance/service vehicle, and loading/timed zones will still be enforced.
  • Passport zones will continue to require payment through the Passport app.
  • Permits can be purchased by calling UND Parking Services at 701.777.3551.

Additional Reminders

• Online sales for parking permits will begin on January 5, 2026, and you may charge to your student account through Jan. 22, 2026.
  • If you no longer need your parking permit email parking@und.edu to have your permit returned for a prorated refund.
