The UND Parking Ramp is a convenient parking option for both hourly visitors and permit holders, offering easy access to campus locations. Whether you’re visiting for a short time or parking regularly, here\u2019s everything you need to know to make the most of the facility.<\/p>\n

Parking Options in the Ramp<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Hourly Parking \u2013 Available for:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    Non-permit holders<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n

    Those without a Ramp Permit<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Permit Parking<\/strong><\/h4>\n
      \n
    • \n

      Reserved for Ramp Permit Holders in designated areas: East Side of Level 1 & Levels 2-5 (+ Inclines).<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n

      Enter via 2nd Avenue (South Side) with a Ramp Permit or use Hourly Pay Options.<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Special Reserved Parking<\/strong><\/h4>\n

      • \n

        Assigned parking spaces for Special Reserved Permit Holders.\u00a0 Look for signs that are posted.<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n
      • \n

        Unauthorized use will result in a citation.<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Primary Entrance (South Side – 2nd Avenue)<\/strong><\/h6>\n
            \n
          • For Ramp Permit Holders, Hourly Pay Parking, and Other UND Permit Holders (paying hourly rate).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
              \n
            • Enter using the far-right lane of the entrance.<\/li>\n
            • Park on East Side of Level 1 & Levels 2-5 (+ Inclines).<\/li>\n
            • Avoid Special Reserved or ADA Spaces unless permitted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
              Secondary Entrance (North Side – University Avenue)<\/strong><\/h6>\n
                \n
              • Accesses only the West Side (Special Reserved & Hourly Pay Parking).<\/li>\n
              • One-way traffic: Enter from University Ave, exit onto 2nd Ave.<\/li>\n
              • Use designated payment methods (see below).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                • Two exit points on 2nd Avenue.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  Hourly Parking Payment Options<\/strong><\/h3>\n
                    \n
                  • Payment is required on the West Side of Level 1 of the ramp, even for Ramp Permit holders.<\/li>\n
                  • Payment is required before exiting the ramp.<\/li>\n
                  • East Side of Level 1 & Levels 2-5 (+ Inclines) are for:\n

                    • Ramp Permit Holders<\/li>\n
                    • Non-Permit Holders paying the hourly rate<\/li>\n
                    • Other UND Permit Holders paying the hourly rate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                      Ways to Pay: Look for signage throughout the Ramp<\/strong><\/h6>\n
                        \n
                      1. Passport App \u2013 Use Zone 28019.<\/li>\n
                      2. Kiosks \u2013 Located on Level 1 & Level 4 (Southwest Tower near the elevator).<\/li>\n
                      3. MobilePay \u2013 Text \u201cHAWKS\u201d to 25023.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                        Important:<\/strong><\/h6>\n
                          \n
                        • Enter your state-issued license plate exactly as shown.<\/li>\n
                        • If there is no plate, use the last 8 digits of your VIN.<\/li>\n
                        • Complete payment before leaving your vehicle if possible or the ramp if you need to use the Kiosks to avoid citations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                          General Guidelines for a Smooth Experience<\/strong><\/h3>\n

                          \u2705 Follow all posted signage and parking regulations.
                          \n\u2705 Link your payment\/permit to your license plate and ensure it faces the drive lane.
                          \n\u2705 Drive safely (5 MPH speed limit inside the ramp).
                          \n\u2705 Enter\/exit cautiously and use designated routes.
                          \n\u2705 For West Side parking, enter only from University Ave and exit onto 2nd Ave.<\/p>\n

                          \u2705 Weekly\/Daily permits purchased online or through the Parking Service Office are not valid in the UND Ramp.<\/p>\n
