{"id":1360,"date":"2026-06-03T12:42:57","date_gmt":"2026-06-03T17:42:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.und.edu\/parking\/?p=1360"},"modified":"2026-06-03T12:43:03","modified_gmt":"2026-06-03T17:43:03","slug":"cfpac-parking-lot-week-of-june-1-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.und.edu\/parking\/2026\/06\/cfpac-parking-lot-week-of-june-1-update\/","title":{"rendered":"CFPAC parking lot: Week of June 1 update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Chester Fritz Performing Arts Center parking lot is closed for\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.und.edu\/uletter\/2026\/05\/mill-and-overlay-of-chester-fritz-performing-arts-center-parking-lot-underway\/\">a mill and overlay project<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0expected to last through July.<\/p>\n<p>UND Facilities Management has shared the following updates (for the week of June 1) since the initial notification was shared with the campus community, including a new image indicating available entries and parking areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Access changes will be made on the south side of the lot.\n<ul>\n<li>East entry on south side will be blocked.<\/li>\n<li>Center entry on south side will be available to reach parking near Hughes Fine Arts Center and University House.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Cleaning of center medians is underway, removing old dirt, weeds and tree stumps for new fill.<\/li>\n<li>New sidewalk is poured along east side of the parking lot, near University House.<\/li>\n<li>Small curb and catch basin replacements are ongoing to provide better drainage.<\/li>\n<li>The mill and overlay portion of the project is expected to start the week of June 15.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.und.edu\/parking\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/29\/2026\/06\/260601-cfpac-lot.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1361 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.und.edu\/parking\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/29\/2026\/06\/260601-cfpac-lot.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"790\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.und.edu\/parking\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/29\/2026\/06\/260601-cfpac-lot.jpg 800w, https:\/\/blogs.und.edu\/parking\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/29\/2026\/06\/260601-cfpac-lot-300x296.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.und.edu\/parking\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/29\/2026\/06\/260601-cfpac-lot-768x758.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Chester Fritz Performing Arts Center parking lot is closed for\u00a0a mill and overlay project\u00a0expected to last through July.
