UND Nistler College of Business & Public Administration hosts Virtual Olafson Ethics Symposium on Ethics in Times of Crisis
November 18, 2020 – The University of North Dakota Nistler College of Business & Public Administration will be hosting the 2020 Olafson Ethics Symposium on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 12:30 – 2 p.m., in a virtual format via Zoom.
This event is designed to engage students, alumni, and local business leaders in conversations regarding ethical decision making. Keynote Speaker, Chris Hilger – Chairman, President and CEO of St. Paul, Minn. – based Securian Financial – will discuss how values inform his company’s corporate strategy and continued management of challenges including social injustice and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Additionally, Dr. Sean Valentine, Professor of Management and Robert Page Endowed Professor of Leadership & Ethics, will conduct an interactive presentation on corporate responsibility.
