Scramble, chipping contest set for UND’s Ray Richards Golf Course on June 19

Ray Richards Golf Course will play host to a two-person 9-hole Scramble and Chipping Challenge event on Saturday, June 19.

An 8 a.m. shotgun start is scheduled for the event, which will feature 20 teams.

Cost is $25 for members and $35 for nonmembers.

Included in the package are green fees, a cart seat, entry into the chipping challenge, Golf Center gift cards and other prizes. The chipping contest will be played on the course’s practice chipping green.

Ray Richards, centrally located just south of the University of North Dakota campus, is one of the region’s premier 9-hole golf courses. Only in its second season back in operation, the course is well maintained and is receiving great reviews from golfers who have played the course in 2021.
