Big event on UND-NDSU weekend at UND’s Ray Richards Golf Course

Event, set before the big Fighting Hawks-Bison game at Alerus Center, will feature the UND women’s golf team

The “Rays Chipping Clinic and Putting Competition” will be held Saturday, Oct. 2, at Ray Richards Golf Course in Grand Forks.

This is just ahead of the big football game between the University of North Dakota and North Dakota State University at the Alerus Center, and will feature the UND women’s golf team.

The UND team will hold a putting and chipping competition on-site. Festivities begin at 10 a.m. with the chipping clinic, followed by a chipping competition at 10:30 a.m., the putting clinic at 11 a.m., and a putting competition at 11:30 a.m.

The clinic is free. There will also be free food. No registration is necessary.

Both clinics will conclude with competitions. Winners can earn free golf, gift certificates and other prizes.
