The Three Minute Thesis Competition (3MT) is an international competition whose goal is improving graduate students’ ability to communicate the significance and value of their research to a non-specialist, public audience, in no more than three minutes. Participants have three minutes to present, using only one PowerPoint slide. Judges will evaluate presentations for comprehension, engagement, and communication. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three winners. A list of 3MT competitors, guidelines, and judging criteria is on the 3MT website.
