UND to close tonight at 10 p.m. due to deteriorating weather conditions; will reopen at noon, Friday, Nov. 11

Due to significant snowfall and blizzard conditions predicted by the National Weather Service, the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks will close tonight at 10 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 9. Offices, including the Wellness Center and the Memorial Union, will remain closed and classes will not be held either in person or online. The University will reopen at noon, on Friday, Nov. 11. Non-essential personnel should not report to work during the closure. Essential personnel should report to work, as scheduled. If it’s not safe for you to travel, please notify your supervisor.

The UND Thanksgiving Alumni event scheduled for 5 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 10, is canceled. The UND Alumni Association & Foundation Veterans Day event slated for 10:30 a.m., Friday, Nov. 11, is still on, as scheduled.
