UND closing tonight at 10 p.m. and reopening two hours late, at 10 a.m., Wednesday

The University of North Dakota Main Campus in Grand Forks will close tonight at 10 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 13, due to deteriorating winter weather conditions making travel in the region hazardous. This closure includes the Wellness Center and Memorial Union. The University plans to reopen for normal operations two hours late, at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, Dec. 14, to allow campus and city crews time to prepare roadways. Non-essential personnel should not report to work during the closure. Essential personnel should report to work, as scheduled. If it’s not safe for you to travel, please notify your supervisor.

A UND weather committee will reconvene early Wednesday morning (tomorrow) at 7 a.m., to review the weather and road conditions and to determine if further delays are necessary.

As always, keep apprised of weather reports in your area and heed any advisories, watches and warnings. UND will continue to monitor the weather and provide further updates, as necessary.
