Before you go: Turning Point USA campus event set for Oct. 9
Special presentation at Chester Fritz Performing Arts Center is ticketed event; priority access for students, followed by general public

Turning Point USA, along with that organization’s University of North Dakota student chapter, will host a special presentation, featuring political commentator Glenn Beck, for students and members of the community on Thursday, Oct. 9, at the Chester Fritz Performing Arts Center in Grand Forks (CFPAC).
The event is part of TPUSA’s “This is the Turning Point” college campus tour of America, in honor of the organization’s late founder, Charlie Kirk.
Here’s what you need to know before you go:
- This is a ticketed event. You will need to have a ticket from Turning Point USA to gain access to the CFPAC.
- Event hosts are planning for a full house. The Chester Fritz Performing Arts Center holds about 2,300.
- Doors will open at 5 p.m. CST for student ticketholders
- General public access is slated for 5:30 p.m.
- Event is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
- Media members should go to Turning Point USA’s website for credentialing and press pass information in advance of the event to ensure they receive their official press pass and further guidance from TPUSA.
Getting in and out:
- For easiest access, use University Avenue from the east (North 42nd Street/Interstate 29) or west (North Columbia Road). Campus Map.
- If entering from the west, access event parking lots by taking a right onto Campus Road or Strinden Road.
- If entering from the east, take a left onto Centennial Drive.
- Yale Drive, in front of the CFPAC main entrance, will be closed to traffic.
- Also, FYI — Cornell Street, which connects with Campus Road on the east side of campus, remains closed due to ongoing construction/demolition.
- The Chester Fritz Performing Arts Center parking lot will be the main lot used for this event. Other UND lots (near Gustafson Hall, the UND Facilities area, and along Strinden Road) will be used for overflow parking.
- Parking and traffic-control attendants will be on site to guide attendees. There is no charge for parking. Expect delays, at times, upon entering and exiting.
Additional Information:
- All guests entering the Chester Fritz Performing Arts Center will be screened by security.
- There will also be a strict non-re-entry policy for the event.
- Any intentional disruptions, threatening behavior or other acts of violence, as determined by law enforcement/security personnel, will result in removal from the venue and possible additional enforcement action.
Prohibited items include:
- Backpacks
- Purses
- Signs
- Sticks or poles (including selfie sticks)
- Weapons of any kind
