Image courtesy of CFPFA.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Turning Point USA, along with that organization&#8217;s University of North Dakota student chapter, will host a special presentation, featuring political commentator Glenn Beck, for students and members of the community on Thursday, Oct. 9, at the Chester Fritz Performing Arts Center in Grand Forks (CFPAC).<\/p>\n<p>The event is part of TPUSA\u2019s &#8220;This is the Turning Point&#8221; college campus tour of America, in honor of the organization&#8217;s late founder, Charlie Kirk.<\/p>\n<h3>Here\u2019s what you need to know before you go:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>This is a ticketed event.<\/strong>\u00a0You will need to have\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/events2022.tpusa.com\/events\/the-american-comeback-tour-at-university-of-north-dakota-ee?_gl=1*5nenfr*_gcl_au*MTk0OTQ1NTE4OS4xNzU4NTY4OTM3*_ga*MTQ4MzA5NjcyMi4xNzU4NTY4OTM3*_ga_7SZC1SVE72*czE3NTk0MzE3NDckbzUkZzAkdDE3NTk0MzE3NDckajYwJGwwJGgw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a ticket from Turning Point USA to<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0gain access to the CFPAC.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Event hosts are planning for a full house.\u00a0<\/strong>The Chester Fritz Performing Arts Center holds about 2,300.<\/li>\n<li>Doors will open at\u00a0<strong>5 p.m. CST for student ticketholders<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>General public access is slated for<strong> 5:30 p.m.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Event is scheduled to begin at\u00a0<strong>6:30 p.m.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Media members should go to <a href=\"https:\/\/tpusa.com\/presspass\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Turning Point USA&#8217;s website for credentialing and press pass information<\/a><\/strong> in advance of the event to ensure they receive their official press pass and further guidance from TPUSA.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Getting in and out:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>For easiest access, use University Avenue from the east (North 42nd Street\/Interstate 29) or west (North Columbia Road).\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/und.edu\/map\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Campus Map<\/strong>.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>If entering from the west<\/strong>, access event parking lots by taking a right onto Campus Road or Strinden Road.<\/li>\n<li><strong>If entering from the east,<\/strong>\u00a0take a left onto Centennial Drive.<\/li>\n<li>Yale Drive, in front of the CFPAC main entrance, will be closed to traffic.<\/li>\n<li>Also, FYI \u2014 Cornell Street, which connects with Campus Road on the east side of campus, remains closed due to ongoing construction\/demolition.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Chester Fritz Performing Arts Center parking lot will be the main lot used for this event. <\/strong>Other UND lots (near Gustafson Hall, the UND Facilities area, and along Strinden Road) will be used for overflow parking.<\/li>\n<li>Parking and traffic-control attendants will be on site to guide attendees. There is no charge for parking. Expect delays, at times, upon entering and exiting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Additional Information:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>All guests entering the Chester Fritz Performing Arts Center will be screened by security.<\/li>\n<li>There will also be a strict non-re-entry policy for the event.<\/li>\n<li>Any intentional disruptions, threatening behavior or other acts of violence, as determined by law enforcement\/security personnel, will result in removal from the venue and possible additional enforcement action.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Prohibited items include:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Backpacks<\/li>\n<li>Purses<\/li>\n<li>Signs<\/li>\n<li>Sticks or poles (including selfie sticks)<\/li>\n<li>Weapons of any kind<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>For more information, contact:<\/h3>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/campus.und.edu\/directory\/david.dodds\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">David L.
