Nursing class makes contribution to alma mater

The December 2009 Nursing graduates have made a financial gift to their alma mater. All members of the graduating class contributed to the gift, which they have asked to be used to support the building fund at the College.

“I am so honored to accept this class gift,” said Julie Anderson, dean of nursing. “As new graduates with loans and many other expenses to juggle, these students have found a way to contribute back to their program. We are so thankful for their generosity and wish them well as they begin their nursing careers.”

The funds will be used to renovate a student classroom in the nursing building into a high-tech classroom that will provide additional capabilities for student learning.
