Former nursing faculty remembered

It is with sadness that the College of Nursing announces the death of former faculty member Myra Thompson. She died on March 24, in a Minot hospital. Myra Thompson served as an assistant professor in the UND College of Nursing from August 16, 1982, to May 15, 2006, in the Practice and Role Development Department. She taught senior level courses and was the coordinator for nursing practicum, placing students in their practicum sites.

Private family services will be held. The family requests memorials be made to the North Dakota Firefighter’s Museum in Garrison, N.D. (Thompson Funeral Home, Garrison, N.D.)
