COVID-19 vaccine now available to all students, faculty and staff

The City of Grand Forks has expanded COVID-19 vaccinations to the general public, which includes all UND students, faculty and staff.

The City of Grand Forks, Grand Forks Public Health and Altru will administer COVID-19 vaccinations to anyone 16 and older beginning the week of Monday, March 29 with appointments available as early as Wednesday, April 7. They are currently finishing vaccination of people in Phase 1C.

If you are interested in receiving the vaccine, log in to to schedule an appointment or call the COVID-19 hotline at 701.780.6358 to be scheduled.

Please Note: While direct scheduling your appointment in MyChart, you also can add yourself to the waitlist for an earlier appointment if the opportunity arises. Add yourself using three quick steps:

  1. Select “Add to Waitlist”
  2. Choose “Schedule an Appointment”
  3. Click “COVID Vaccine in Grand Forks”

If you live out-of-state and are a UND student, staff, or faculty member, you are eligible for the vaccine in Grand Forks County. Call the hotline and tell them you are a UND student or work at UND.

You are encouraged to call the hotline for quicker access, especially if your primary residence is not in North Dakota.

Vaccines are administered at the Alerus Center. Transportation is available via shuttle bus.
