Nov. 9 video message from President Armacost

In his video message, President Armacost invites the campus to honor and celebrate the contributions of those who served our nation at a Veterans Day event Thursday, Nov. 11, 1 p.m. at the Gorecki Alumni Center.

He also invites everyone to celebrate Native American History Month and to appreciate the history and culture of Native American peers and friends.

Armacost notes that last week was Diwali, the Festival of Lights and beginning of the new year in India.

UND’s accreditation visit from the Higher Learning Commission is less than two years away, and the University is preparing for the visit. He encourages the campus to participate in preparations and help showcase the University.

Finally, President Armacost encourages the community to look out for and support one another.
